Mr. Sherlock

Recently started watching the BBC Sherlock series and was pleasently surprised. Love it!

The ghost monkey was request from a friend, really enjoyed doing this one.

I also decided to do something seeing as it's the year of the horse n' all. Tried to keep with the ink style seen in Chinese illustrations but mix it in with my own.

The last piece was practice different locations and colours for backgrounds.

So really enjoyed working on these illustrations - Ents, a chimera and a Cyclops. With the more detailed Ent I tried to make it look more animalistic as opposed to the more human types seen in typical LOTR illustrations.
Cyclops are always so angry, thought I'd make him a big softy :)
